Join us
The Pre-school is open 38 weeks during term time only (we are closed on bank holidays).
Opening times
Monday to Friday 9.15am - 12.15pm
Once sessions start the front door is kept locked for safety reasons and the main gate is padlocked by 9.30am and remains locked until the end of the session. A bell is in place if you need to come in and see us.
Fees
Our fees are £11.00 per morning, which can be paid monthly or weekly or through voucher schemes.
Funding
We provide funding for all children between the ages of 3-5 years, and for those who qualify for 2 year old funding. This entitles your child to 5 funded morning sessions, totalling 15 hours, when they move up into the rooms leading to school.

Starting Pre-school
Admissions Form
To ensure we know all about parents and their children, an admissions form will need to be filled in when your child starts at our Pre-school.
We also need to be made aware of your child's medical conditions for example food allegies, asthma etc. It is important to let us know if your child needs us to administer medication for any condition they suffer with, during morning sessions. This medication is only accepted if prescribed by a Doctor, and it will need to be clearly labelled and in date. A Health-Care Plan needs to be completed and signed by staff and parents/carer, stating dosage, when and how.
Food allegies are important for us to know about. As part of our Pre-school's routine we provide a 'snack time', a social time where children eat together. Our snacks are planned with healthy and nutritious food.
Welcome Pack
When your child starts at our Pre-school, parents/carers will be given a 'Welcome Pack', giving guidance and information about our Pre-school.
Key-person system
Our Pre-school has a key-person system where each member of staff is responsible for a group of children's well-being and development. Your child's key-person staff member will be the first point of contact to discuss anything about your child. A 'Learning Journal' is kept for every child, which helps record and celebrate their achievements. Our Pre-school has an 'Open Door' policy so these journals are always available for parents/carers to view and contribute to.
Parents/Carers involvement
We recognise that parents/carers are the first and most important educators of their children, so we encourage you to come in and help during a session as a volunteer. We believe your child will benefit from your involvement to make our Pre-school a welcoming and stimulating place.
